WHAT DOES MANTA BRINGS TO THE TABLE

Manta Network implements zero-knowledge succinct non-interactive arguments of knowledge (zkSNARKs), enabling confidential transactions without exposing details to the public. These advanced cryptographic techniques ensure data remains private, maintaining the integrity and security of transactions while allowing them to be verified. This privacy layer distinguishes Manta from other DeFi protocols that struggle with the exposure of sensitive information.

Manta network offers two distinguished blockchains. Manta Pacific, the unique L2 ecosystem on Ethereum for EVM-native ZK applications, provides a scalable and inexpensive gas-fee environment for ZK applications to deploy simply using Solidity. On the other hand, Manta Atlantic, the fastest ZK L1 chain on Polkadot, brings programmable identities and credentials to web3 through zkSBTs. Manta has developed a stable ecosystem by providing grants to incubate various projects with their blockchains. Bridges, DAOs, wallets and CEX/DEX among other necessary infrastructure is built on Manta Network, greatly improving the utility of the network. 

Manta network has reached a TVL of historical high in the beginning of this year, capped at over $800M, which is even higher than Bitcoin chain. Although its TVL drops greatly later, this historical high still signals market’s acknowledgement to the ecosystem built by Manta.

• Victor Ji – Co-Founder
  Victor used to be the Chair of Harvard Kennedy School Blockchain and Cryptocurrency Club, and an early investor of blockchain projects like Ontology, Zilliqa, and ARPA. He holds a Master’s Degree from Harvard. His expertise in financial analysis and venture capital secure Manta financially. 

• Shumo Chu– Co-Founder
  Shumo is also the founder of NEBRA, a proof aggregation service on Ethereum. Before founding NEBRA, he worked as a System Researcher for Algorand. At the same time, he is an assistant professor at UC Santa Barbara. His technical expertise is the perfect complement to Victor, constituting the technological basis for Manta network.
